Overview

OrbitA helps close-knit groups meet up. This policy explains what we collect when you use the app and the website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account details such as your name, email address and profile information; the content you create, such as meetups and messages; and technical information about your device and how you use OrbitA.

Location data

With your permission, we use your device location to show your position to the people in a meetup you have joined and to estimate arrival times. Location sharing is scoped to the meetup and can be turned off at any time in settings or your device permissions.

How we use information

We use your information to provide and improve OrbitA, to keep the service safe and secure, to communicate with you, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, and where required by law. The location you share is visible to members of your meetup.

Retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymise it in line with our retention practices.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your information, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children

OrbitA is not directed to children under the age required by local law, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you in the app or by email.
